Greg Porto is a partner and co-founder of Access Capital Partners. Greg advises private middle market companies in capital raising, m&a and growth strategies. He has extensive corporate finance experience in a breadth of industries in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Over his career, Greg has executed transactions exceeding $8 billion in aggregate value.
Before founding Access Capital, Greg was the head of a St Louis based middle market investment bank. Prior to that, Greg ran the Chicago office of Ion Partners, a New York City based middle market investment bank where he remains a Senior Advisor. He spent eight years in the investment banking group at A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. where he was a Managing Director focused on private placements, mergers and acquisitions and public offerings for middle market companies. He has held executive management positions in operating companies as a CFO, director of restructuring and as the partner of a marketing and product development company. He began his career in New York in the investment banking group at Kidder, Peabody & Co., Inc. Greg maintains his FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 Registrations with StillPoint Capital, LLC.
Greg is a graduate of Duke University and received his MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia. He resides in St. Louis with his wife Jennifer.
